Determine Your Nomination Distribution Plan

Call for Nominations

Select the communication channels you want to use to send out the call for nominations, and when to send it. The best channels to use are the ones that best connect with your intended audience. Using more than one channel is a good strategy. You will want to schedule it far enough in advance to allow adequate time to select the honorees, plus create the messaging and artwork in time for Teacher Proud Tuesday.

Website

Your Website

Keep an announcement displayed throughout the school year with a link to the nomination form or email address.

Social Media
Social Media

Post a request on your channels 1-2 times per month, on opposite weeks of the Teacher Proud Tuesday posts. Include a link to the announcement on your website, the nomination form or request a private message be sent.

news.png Newsletter

Include a Teacher Proud section in your internal staff and/or public newsletters with a link to the announcement on your website, the nomination form or email address. The frequency of this messaging will depend on how often the newsletter is distributed and to whom. Once per month will probably work for most situations.

email.png Email

If your audience for collecting nominations is your staff, then you could choose to send a staff email each month to request nominations.

Task Call to Action

Update your Teacher Proud Tuesday Playbook, listing your communication channels and when you will send the messages.
